(“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, stored, and shared when you use our mobile application (the “Ajr App”).

Ajr App is designed to help users engage in Dhikr (remembrance), reflection, and spiritual well-being in a simple and respectful way. We follow industry-standard privacy and security practices and comply with applicable laws including GDPR, CCPA, and Apple App Store & Google Play policies.

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Summary

  • We collect only the data necessary to operate and improve the App

  • Your Dhikr activity remains private by default

  • Ads are shown only with consent (where required)

  • You can delete your account and all data at any time

  • We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use the App, we may collect the following information:

1. App Usage & Device Information

Collected automatically to operate and improve the App:

  • Device type, operating system, app version

  • Anonymous identifiers (such as Firebase Instance ID)

  • IP address (used for security, fraud prevention, and regional compliance)

2. Dhikr & App Activity Data

Stored locally on your device and/or securely in the cloud:

  • Dhikr counts

  • Selected Dhikr types

  • Session duration

  • Streaks, goals, reminders

  • App preferences (theme, vibration, sound, language)

This data is not shared publicly and is only used to provide core app functionality.

3. Optional Account Information (If Enabled)

If you choose to create an account or sign in:

  • Email address

  • Display name

  • Profile photo (optional)

Login may be provided via:

  • Google Sign-In

  • Apple Sign-In

We never receive your passwords. Authentication providers only share a secure token.

Sensitive / Religious Data

Dhikr activity may be considered religious or spiritual information. This data:

  • Is used only to provide app functionality

  • Is never sold

  • Is never used for advertising profiling

  • Is not shared with third parties except as required to operate the App

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used and to improve performance and user experience.

Collected analytics data may include anonymized events such as:

  • App install & launch

  • Dhikr session started/completed

  • Reminder enabled

  • Settings changed

  • Feature usage frequency

This data is aggregated and anonymized and does not personally identify you.

Ads & Advertising (AdMob)

Ajr App currently does not display ads, but we may include ads in future versions.

When enabled:

  • Ads will be provided via Google AdMob

If you choose a paid or ad-free version , ads will be disabled entirely.

Use of Your Data

We use your information to:

  • Provide and maintain core app functionality

  • Save your Dhikr progress and preferences

  • Improve app performance and features

  • Respond to support requests

  • Ensure security and prevent abuse

Aggregated Research

We may analyze anonymized, aggregated data (e.g. total Dhikr sessions, feature popularity) to improve the App. This data cannot identify you personally.

Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We may share limited data with:

  • Service providers (e.g. analytics, hosting) strictly to operate the App

  • Legal authorities if required by law

All partners are required to comply with applicable privacy laws.

Data Retention

  • Account data is retained as long as your account exists

  • Dhikr and usage data is retained until you delete it or delete your account

  • We may retain limited data where required for legal or security reasons

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the App:

App → Settings → Delete Account

Once deleted:

  • All personal data is permanently removed from our systems

  • This action cannot be undone

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including:

  • Encrypted data transmission (SSL/TLS)

  • Secure cloud infrastructure

  • Restricted access to personal data

While no system is 100% secure, we take data protection seriously and continuously improve our safeguards.

Communication

If you provide an email address, we may use it to:

  • Respond to support requests

  • Send important service updates

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You may opt out at any time.

Children’s Privacy

Ajr App is not intended for children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate data

  • Delete your data

Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
